ENTRÉE LIBRE (FREE ENTRY)
From a selection of images belonging to the photographic collection of the museum, the proposal suggests the view of a city in a state of insurrection. Inhabitants, for whom it is not clear whether they are friends or enemies, populate these places. Survival agents (food, clothing, rest) accompany the confused and threatening situation.
Some works necessary for the project could not be presented. They are represented here by empty substitutes, in the dimensions of the originals, bearing mention, for each of them, the name of the artist, the title of the work, the reason for its non-availability.
Free Entry the title assigns the place of the proposal inside the building. By opening its space to the randomized circulation of the hall, the museum composes with the city and indicates in the same the thrift of the works and the generosity of the language. Ghosts haunt the scene.
