Little Warsaw & innen Library at Erna Hecey

To celebrate the latest publication Seems (innen: 2020, Zurich) by Little Warsaw, Erna Hecey is delighted to host a temporary exhibition dedicated to the Zurich-based independent publisher innen.

During this transition period between exhibitions, we want to explore the publishing format and the versatile forms contemporary culture can be showcased in print.

innen is an independent publisher promoting Swiss and international contemporary artists, offering unconventional perspectives on art and contemporary trends.

Founded by Aaron Fabian in 2006, innen has gradually gained prestige with its uniquely charming Zines and Books.

In 2010 innen launched Zug Magazine, a biannual collection of selected contemporary artworks. Zug proved to be a great platform for artists around the world, and continually widens its audience by raising attention to novelty trends. innen appreciates artistic freedom above all, that's why each publication is a momentary picture book of personal, subjective depictions of our culture.

In 2017 innen opened a new space Space / office at Haldenbachstrasse 9, Zürich to expand its editorial acitvity for exhibitions and book launches.

innen publications have been exhibited at Kunsthalle Zürich, Art Metropole in Toronto, Swiss Institute in New York and at MoMA Library.

The exhibition Little Warsaw: seems is on display at innen Space, Zurich, from 11 September to 20 November 2020.
