Liquid Earth is an exploration of the invisible and tangible on trembling grounds, leaving behind grounds of certainties and fixed identities. Liquid Earth is a migration through seismology and tectonic plates, connecting local grounds with the volcano Nyiragongo situated in Congo as one of the largest active lakes of volcanic lava in the world. Nyiragongo is also the source and zone of conflict due to the mining of the precious raw material coltan, the new "cotton". The heartbeat of the Earth, "A trembling together" between breathing and breathlessness, a breath taken away.
